Hudson Football on MSBN

Midwest Sports Broadcast Network

For the seventh year MSBN (Midwest Sports Broadcast Network) will be broadcasting all Hudson Raider football broadcasts for the 2017 season both home and away.  The broadcasts will be full HD video productions with audio commentary provided by broadcasters Joe Moore and Jon Wekkin.  All broadcasts will be aired live and will also be archived to view at a later date.  All broadcasts can be accessed on

MSBN was founded in 2005 by Hudson resident Jon Wekkin and has produced over 14,000 broadcasts.  We look forward to another great season of broadcasting comprehensive coverage of Hudson football on MSBN.

Welcome to the 2017 BenchWarmers Club

Benchwarmers is the parent group for all of Hudson High School football players (Freshmen through Seniors).  All parents of HHS football players are members.
What is our purpose?
Our goal is to make our football players’ high school experience as memorable and successful as possible.
What have we done in the past?
  • Equipment for the team
  • Spaghetti dinners
  • Fund additional assistance coaches
  • Subsidized fan bus
  • Player game day food
  • Homecoming Parade
  • Game day programs
  • End of year banquet
  • Senior player yearbooks
  • Scholarships
  • And many many more activities
This is all accomplished through fundraising and volunteering.  We need each of you to do a little bit for the club to accomplish a lot!
Here is a list of the fundraising committees where we need volunteers.  Please review and email your grade level rep (listed below) this week to let them know what committee(s) you can join.  Each committee has a chairperson identified.  We need to fill out the rest of the committees by early June so planning for these events can begin.
Program Committee
Pigskin Picnic Committee
Concessions Committee
Spring Football Game Committee
Membership Committee
Additionally, we need an age level rep for the  juniors (class of 2019).
Grade Level Reps:
Senior Class:  Glen Schultz - gtschultz1965@gmail.com.
Junior Class: TBD (Cory Stubbendick) - cory.stubbendick@sbcglobal.
Sophomore Class: Melissa and Pat McDevitt - mkmcdevitt16@gmail.com,
pmcdevittccs@yahoo.com

These people are here to answer your questions about the football year, our club, volunteering, and more.
More about our club can be found on our website:  www.hudsonfootball.org or on the Hudson Benchwarmers Facebook page.
Thanks -
Cory Stubbendick

Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for volunteering to help feed our boys!  Due to the generosity of Agave, the spaghetti, meatballs and bread sticks will be prepared at the restaurant and brought to the high school cafeteria each week.  Therefore, we only need to provide milk and desserts!  Please deliver donated items to the high school cafeteria between 4:15 and 4:30 pm each Thursday.   You will need to enter the high school through door 7 (southwest corner of the building) and work your way to the cafeteria.

Desserts:  Yes! 4 dozen desserts per sign up.  These boys love their sweets!  They will eat everything - cookies, Rice Krispies treats, Special K bars, etc.

Chocolate Milk: 20 gallons of milk is what we need each Thursday which means each person brings 4 gallons.  Wow! That's a lot milk.  But those boys love it and drink it up!

White Milk: Only 2 gallons needed…the coaches drink it

Set-up, Serve & Clean Up: Come see the boys eat!  Please arrive at 4:15 pm and plan to be done by 6:00 pm.  You will help set up tables, serve food, and clean up.
