Pigskin Picnic

The Annual Pig Skin Picnic is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7th beginning at 4:30 pm and will end with our very own YAM HAUS band playing from 7 – 9 pm.   In addition to the band, there will be food, games, tug-of-war competition, jump houses, raffle, silent auction and so much more.  The picnic will be taking place at the new stadium.  This is a fundraiser for the Benchwarmers that helps with the cost of food, transportation, coaches, etc. for our players.  We need to get as many people at this event as possible to help raise money.  Please help spread the word of our big event.  I have attached a copy of the flyer so you can pass on to all your friends and family.  MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!

We are also in need of volunteers at the event.  Below is a link to access what positions are available and need helpers for.  Please consider working a shift.  It takes all of us to make an event successful.  The Hudson Raidaires have already claimed some shifts, so now it is up to us parents to fill the rest.

At the event, there will be raffles and a silent auction.  The committee is looking for donations.  If you have anything you would be willing to donate for the event, please let one of the committee members know.  Ideas of items would be, tickets to a sporting event, concert, etc., sports memorabilia, gift cards, etc.  The picnic committee members are:  Dave & Angela Moeri, Jody & Kristen Hess, Dustin & Trisha Danielson, Amy Anderson & Jason Anderson.

Lastly, there will be a tug-of-war contest at the event.  We are looking for teams of 10 to sign up.  Hoping for some good/big competition, i.e., football dads/moms vs hockey dads/moms; sophomore dads/moms vs. senior dads/moms, etc.,

Welcome to the 2018 BenchWarmers Club

Benchwarmers is the parent group for all of Hudson High School football players (Freshmen through Seniors).  All parents of HHS football players are members.
What is our purpose?
Our goal is to make our football players’ high school experience as memorable and successful as possible.
What have we done in the past?
  • Equipment for the team
  • Spaghetti dinners
  • Fund additional assistance coaches
  • Subsidized fan bus
  • Player game day food
  • Homecoming Parade
  • Game day programs
  • End of year banquet
  • Senior player yearbooks
  • Scholarships

This is all accomplished through fundraising and volunteering.  We need each of you to do a little bit for the club to accomplish a lot!
Here is a list of the fundraising committees where we need volunteers.  Please review and email your grade level rep (listed below) this week to let them know what committee(s) you can join.  Each committee has a chairperson identified.  We need to fill out the rest of the committees by early June so planning for these events can begin.
